We, like many, are struggling but we are persevering in this uncertain time.
During lockdown we have held a Half-Marathon and a 10 mile virtual race which have gone down really well with participants, kept people motivated and had fun. Our next virtual race is The ROCKY 10K on 31st May details here.
All of these races have been free to enter. We just wanted to have some positive impact that people could access quickly at no charge.
POSTPONEMENTS DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
Anyone who has entered an event will receive an email (to the email used on sign up) with details of any postponements. If the new date doesn't suit please consider deferring to 2021 or transferring to any of our other events.
You can transfer the value of your entry to any of our running, swimming or swimrun events, or swap it for one of exclusively designed, high-quality Hoodies or Jumpers made from 100% organic cotton - browse our shop.
Refunds are a possibility, but with significant costs already outlaid for the 2020 season we ask you to consider all of the transfer and deferral options, even to 2022 if necessary.
Dyfi X Trail Marathon: 3rd October (was 25th April)
Tal Y Llyn Swim 2km/10km: 13th September (was 7th June)
Cadair X Half Marathon: 29th August (was 4th July)
For those who have deferred to 2021 the dates are: Dyfi X - 24th April; Tal Y Llyn Swim - 6th June.
We work with a lot of partners, including Natural Resources Wales, who have understandably suspended all events on their land. Indeed various mountain areas across Snowdonia National Park are currently closed, including part of the Cadair Idris range. Please bear with us.
MOUNTAIN AREAS CLOSED:
We are a small, nimble organisation with great participants, and excellent local partnerships. With your continued support we will get through this, and continue to provide challenging, adventurous and fun events for years to come.
