Refundable Booking
If you have signed up through RaceID, and taken out the Refundable Booking option, please follow up with them any requests that are valid, details in their FAQ here.
TRANSFER OF PARTICIPANT
If you have signed up to an event through raceID.com:
You can complete the transfer yourself in your raceid account (as long as the person you are transferring to complies with any prerequisites).
If not:
You may submit an email request to transfer your entry to a Transferee (known to you). We will accept such request at our discretion but subject to the following:
(1) the transfer request must be received by us 2 weeks before the event date;
(2) the Transferee must meet any relevant requirements notified by us to you and the Transferee;
(3) the Transferee must comply with these Terms & Conditions, and any Event Rules;
(4) where such transfer request is accepted, the transferee (known to you) pays the event fee to you
(6) the Transferee confirms their attendance via email to [email protected]
TRANSFER TO A DIFFERENT EVENT
You may submit an email request to transfer your entry to one of our other events, we will accept such request at our discretion but subject to the following provisions:
(1) you must have already paid the fee for the event in full;
(2) the change request must be received 5 weeks before the event date; and
(3) the change request may only be carried out for events taking place in the same year
REFUNDS
We can only refund the balance to you if we receive your request 14 days after purchase. Note, most of our events give the add-on option of Refund Protection during the sign up process.
ADMIN FEE
In order for us to process refunds, transfers or deferrals there is a £5 admin fee applicable to all of the above. In all of the cases above you must let us know within the stated time frame via [email protected]
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
Adventurous activities, by their nature, involve an element of risk which cannot be totally eliminated. Every care is taken by WESWIMRUN Ltd to ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants. However, adventurous activities do involve the acceptance of risk and of responsibility for the consequences of one’s actions.
Adventurous activities are frequently physically demanding and require a good level of fitness. By presenting on the event you are declaring yourself fit, free from injury, and able to participate in the event.
All participants on a WESWIMRUN event must be aware of this and accept the risks associated with the chosen event.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY (ICE)
Whether you are taking part in an event, or just out and about, we recommend putting your ICE details in your smartphone, find out how to do this here.
