We can recommend re-warming with a hot beverage in BEAN Coffee or MOOSE Coffee, both less than 1 minute's walk. Cargo Seafood Restaurant is also worth a visit. The Malmaison Hotel is also just 2 minutes walk away.
Competent skins (non-wetsuit) swimmers are welcome. High quality, bright, silicone swim hats are available for £5, and Swim Secure tow floats are available for £15.
GETTING HERE The venue is opposite BEAN Coffee, 5 minutes walk from both Moorfields and James Street stations. There is also a keypad accessed bicycle store within 2 mins walk. We encourage active travel, and travel by public transport where possible. Postcode L3 1BG.
For drivers, our recommended car park isLiverpool Waters Parking, 30 seconds walk from the venue. It's a multi-storey between BEAN Coffee and the Malmaison Hotel. This car park has EV charging stations, and also has a toilet.
There are other parking options within 5 minutes walk, eg Galton St at the back of Home Bargain.
CHANGING There is a large decked area for changing, and lockers for storage of valuables. Please bring your own padlock in order to lock your locker. There are no showers or changing rooms at present. We recommend bringing a changing towel or similar.
THE COURSE Currently the 400m is set up, marked by large red pyramid buoys.
