- In water acclimatisation allowed: 10:10 to 10:19
- Swim start: 10:20am
- If you can swim 1km within 30 minutes you'll make any cut off in place

What a battle at the front of the pack between Macey Lyle, from Wellington Swimming Club, and Jake Scott. Real drama on the lake! Well done to all who took on the challenge of swimming 1 mile in 10 degree water.

PARKING
We recommend the all day parking (£5) or overnight parking (£10) available at the Pen Y Bont Hotel, 1 minute's walk away. For those that have booked into the Tyn Y Cornel Hotel for a meal or accommodation then there is Hotel parking.
The nearest campsite is Dol Einion Campsite, 40 mins walk away/5 mins drive. Phone 01654 761 312 to book.

Do I have to wear a tow-float?
Mandatory for skins swimmers. Available to purchase at registration.
Can I get out after the first lap?
For our swims that involve laps, you can get out after any lap.
Can I wear neoprene gloves/boots/hat and still qualify as a skins swimmer?
Officially skins swimmers wear no neoprene. To receive a top 3 skins swimmer prize you are not allowed neoprene. Other than for the podium places, we are relaxed about neoprene on swimmers' hands/feet/head.
Obviously, swimmers in the wetsuit category are allowed to wear wetsuits.
Will have enough time to faff and then acclimatise?
Yes between 09:30 and 09:59
Will there be medals?
We've only ever given out useful, or edible, "medals".
Can I buy a T Shirt?
Yes, they are made to order by Teemill. You can order here.
