Get set for the swimrun season in our comprehensive workshop covering:
- Swimrun wetsuits
- Swimming/running with a tow system
- Sighting techniques
- Open water swim technique
- Use of hand paddles & pull buoys
- Transition training
- Race strategy
- Kit management in transition
- Racing with a partner - team mentality
- Race nutrition
- Shoes, socks & foot care
- Reading the course and the conditions
- Solo v Team considerations
- Insider tips for specific races
We will complete a short swimrun route with several transitions to help practice and consolidate what you have learnt. We will move together at a sociable pace.
The swim sections won't be longer than 700m, the focus is more on the swim to run, and run to swim transitions.
With our expert knowledge of the area, we have a lot of flexibility in the length of swims/runs we do, this can be adjusted based on the group and the conditions.
Excellent prep for Tal Y Llyn SWIMRUN and Dyfi SWIMRUN.
