The Eliminator, Liverpool
This is a siwmrun knockout event, with a potential total of 15km (run: 12km; swim 3km). Perfect for all swimrun abilities, all taking place at Princes Dock, Liverpool.
Described by first time swimrunners "as a fast-track introduction to swimrun, perfectly embedded in an awesome race!". If you're at the pointy end then there's certainly a time to shine in the final lap.
The Course
The lap is 2.5km (total run: 2km; total swim: 500m)
- Run: 700m
- Swim: 200m
- Run: 900m
- Swim: 300m
- Run: 400m
You will potentially complete 6 laps.
Time Per Lap
Each lap is a total of 2.5km (2km run, 500m swim). The cut off time for each lap:
WOMEN
If you are not finished within the lap time you will stand down at the end of that lap. If you finished ahead of time then you can rest for the remaining time of that lap.

- Lap 2: 25 min
- Lap 3: 24 min
- Lap 4: 22 min
- Lap 5: 20 min
- Lap 6: Now it's an all out race!

Campervan/Motorhome
If you are staying overnight in campervan/similar then the nearest location with all the facilities for this less than 3km away at Liverpool Marina. A 30 min walk along the prom, or 5 min cycle!

The Transitions
Both the swim entry points are off pontoons, around 2 feet above the water level. You can jump, or shallow dive - water depth is 2m.
The swim exit for both swims is a concrete ramp that will likely be slippy when wet. It's steeper than your average slipway so take care on exit.

There will be a free pre-race yoga session led by Shirin Costa Yoga, limited to the first 10 people who arrive at registration and want to do it!

Your Kit
The emphasis is on "your". This is your race, use the kit that works for you. Expect water temperature to be around 15/16 degrees Celsius. Look at the swim distances & the run distances to help inform your decisions.

- Wetsuit - up to you, anything goes. No nudity
- Hand paddles - first time? Maybe don't bother with them
- Pull buoy - Useful, but have you practised with one?
- Tow-float - Not required
- Socks - whatever you normally wear when running
